Ocean View – At 8:47 this morning, Sunday, July 28, 2019, rescue crews from the Millville Fire Company along with Sussex County Medics and Trooper 2 were dispatched to the intersection of Windmill Drive and St. George Street for reports of a motorcycle crash with injuries.
While en route to the scene, crews learned that the rider was seriously injuries. Upon their arrival, crews alerted dispatch that Trooper 2 would be utilized for transport.
As crews worked to treat the patient they alerted command that the patient would need to go by ground and Trooper 2 was recalled.
The patient was transported to an area hospital via ground ambulance with several medics accompanying.
The Delaware State and Ocean View Police are currently investigating.
