Millennial Aged Suspect Robs Barista At Concord Pike Starbuck’s

Wilmington – The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that took place at a north Wilmington Starbuck’s on Wednesday night, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Michael Austin.

Austin said the incident occurred at approximately 8:56 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at the Starbuck’s located at 4125 Concord Pike. A male suspect approached an employee at the sales counter and produced a note that stated he was armed with a weapon and demanded cash, said Austin. The employee complied with the demand and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect who then fled. No weapon was ever displayed and the employee was not injured as a result of the incident.

The suspect was described as a white male, 25-30 years of age, 5’8”-5’9” tall, 150-160 lbs., wearing a dark-colored shirt and shorts.
