Motorcycle Crash Sends One To The Trauma Center By Air Overnight

Frankford – Just after 11:00 last evening, Monday, July 16, 2019, rescue crews from the Roxana Fire Company, along with Sussex County Medics and Trooper 2 responded to 34781 Roxana Road for reports if a vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.

Upon their arrival, crews ordered the road closed and reported that the patient was seriously injured.

Arriving medics alerted Trooper 2 that they would be utilized for transport.

Trooper 2, with the assistance of a landing zone crew, landed at a nearby church where the patient was transferred to the helicopter.

The patient was then transported to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hosptial.
