Officers Found Two Men Shot In Broad Daylight Monday Afternoon

Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred just after 1:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of West 2nd Street.

Officials said officers located two male gunshot victims, who were both transported to the hospital for treatment. One of the victims, a 48-year-old male, is listed in stable condition. The second victim, a 31-year-old male, is listed in critical condition.

This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.

Breaking Report

Wilmington – At around 1:30 this afternoon rescue crews from the Wilmington Fire Department along with New Castle County Medics and  Wilmington Police responded to the 100 block of North Scott Street for reports of a shooting.

Radio traffic indicates that two separate medic units were dispatched to for a total of two patients.

One patient is currently en route to the trauma center reportedly suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
