Newark Police have arrested a Wilmington Man doe burglarizing a popular Main Street restaurant.

On Saturday, June 22, 2019, at around 2:30 in the morning, a suspect entered the Caffe Gelato restaurant in the unit block of East Main Street, according to Lt Andrew Rubin.

Rubin said the restaurant was closed to customers at the time, but the suspect entered undetected. While inside, the suspect rummaged through the restaurant office and removed property belonging to the business. He then fled the area.
