Dover Police Seeking Suspect Who Stole Children’s Clothing

The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at the Carter’s children’s clothing store, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said the incident occurred at approximately 3:11 AM when an unknown suspect used a large rock to break a front window to the business. Once inside, the suspect removed several clothing items and fled.

Arriving officers located a vehicle in the Cedar Chase Apartment complex with an alarm going off and an unknown subject running from it. Some children’s clothing items were found inside of the trunk which was left unsecured. The vehicle was towed to the Dover Police Department for further processing.
