Happening Now: Firefighters Responding To NCC Airport For Aircraft Emergency

Rescue crews from the Air National Guard Rescue Squad along with crews from the Wilmington Manor Fire Company have responded to the New Castle County Airport for reports of an aircraft emergency.

Crews are being told that an aircraft is having problems with the landing gear. The plane was over the water and the crew was attempting to lower the gear.

The plane is now reportedly going to fly by the tower so that they can take a look at the landing gear.

The plane has made a second pass by the tower.

Update: Crews are reporting that the Delaware Air National National Guard C-130 has made a safe landing and is taxiing normally. Command has placed the incident under control.
