The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred on Saturday evening, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said at approximately 6:39 pm, a 16-year-old male victim was walking in the Dover East Estates mobile home park when he was approached by two juvenile suspects.

The suspects demanded the victim’s headphones and he refused. The juveniles then assaulted the victim, making him briefly lose consciousness, according to Hoffman.

The suspects then fled with the victim’s backpack and other belongings. He was treated at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital for his injuries.

The suspects were described as two black males, skinny build, approximately 15-16 years old.
