Police: Enterprise Car Rental Burglarized In Dover Friday Morning

The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at Enterprise Car Rental on Friday morning, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said at approximately 12:58 AM, officers responded to the business for an alarm activation. Upon arrival, officers observed that a front window had been broken. Surveillance footage showed that two black male suspects broke the window with a hammer and made entry. Once inside, the suspects appeared to take miscellaneous items/electronics and then attempted to use vehicle key fobs to unlock vehicles in the parking lot, but failed. The suspects then fled.

Both suspects appear to be 5’7″-6′” in height and average weight. The first suspect was covering his face with a hood from a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt he was wearing. The sweatshirt had three white stripes on each side with an Adidas logo on the front.

The second suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with writing on the front, white and black faded jeans, an orange belt, black shoes, and a green “mask” covering his face.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130.
