Wilmington Police have identified the victim that was shot and killed Friday morning as 36-year-old Nadine Midgette.
Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 12:28 a.m. in the 900 block of Bennett Street.
When police arrived on scene they found Midgette suffering from gunshot wounds. She was later transported to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
