Three Shot At Dover Nightclub Wednesday

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred outside of Allure Nightclub on Wednesday morning. At approximately 1:24 AM, officers responded to the scene for a report of a shooting, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said upon arrival, it was learned that three victims were on their way to Kent General Hospital via private vehicles. The incident is believed to have occurred on the property immediately next to Allure Nightclub’s parking lot as the club was closing for the night. A group of subjects were involved in an altercation and an unknown suspect began firing, according to Hoffman.

A 28-year-old male from Seaford suffered a gunshot wound to his left bicep and required surgery.

A 26-year-old female from Dover suffered a graze wound to the left side of her head and was treated and released.

A 32-year-old female from Dover reported that she was grazed by a bullet on the left hand, however, there was no visible injury, and she declined medical treatment.
