Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 12:28 a.m. in the 900 block of Bennett Street.
Police located a 36-year-old female gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
