Wilmington – At around 2:10 this afternoon, rescue crews from the Brandywine Hundred Fire Company along with New Castle County Medics, Delaware State Police and Trooper 4 were dispatched to N Market Street at E 40th Street for reports that a motorcycle was struck by a vehicle.
Initial reports from the scene indicate that the motorcycle was struck by the vehicle and the rider was thrown from the vehicle.
The rider is currently en route to the hospital via ground ambulance with medics accompanying.
Trooper 4 has been recalled
