The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred in the 100 Block of North American Avenue on October 15th, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.
Hoffman said sometime between 1:30 PM and 6:00 PM, an unknown suspect entered a residence by forcing open a rear door while the resident was not there. Once inside, the suspect removed various jewelry and precious metal items before fleeing.
