Just In: Crash Brings Down Wires Overnight Causing Road Closure

Middletown – At around 11:50 Tuesday night rescue crews from the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown responded to a traffic collision in the 1000 block of Bethel Church Road.

Upon their arrival crews reported that a utility pole and wires were down in the roadway.

Bethel Church Road was closed between the roundabout and Summit Bridge Road overnight while crews made repairs.

At around 9:00 this morning the road was reopened.

No word on injuries at this time.
