Just In: Six Hospitalized After Serious Four Vehicle Crash Near Bridgeville

Bridgeville – Just before 1:00 on Sunday afternoon rescue crews from the Seaford, Bridgeville, Georgetown, and Millsboro along with Sussex County Medics and Lifenet were dispatched to 10740 Seashore Highway a traffic collision with injuries.

While en route crews learned that the crash involved four vehicles and that a Delaware State Trooper was reporting one patient was seriously injured. Crews also learned that one patient was trapped, however, it’s not clear if these are the same patient at this time.

A total of six patients were transported to area hospitals. Initial reports indicate that one patient was in critical condition, two patients were in serious condition and three additional patients suffered minor injuries.

Seashore Highway is currently closed at Oak Road.
