Police: Victim Pistol Whipped During Dover Robbery

The Dover Police Department is investigating the robbery of a 20-year-old male victim that occurred on Monday night. At approximately 11:50PM, the victim parked his car in Fairway Lakes Apartments. he was then approached by two unknown suspects with handguns, demanding property, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said the suspects then struck the victim on the head with a gun and forcefully removed him from his vehicle and rummaged through the car. The suspects took the victim’s cell phone and keys and told him to run the opposite direction.

The victim refused treatment for his minor injuries.

The suspects were both described as black males with no further details provided.
