At a brief press conference on Wednesday morning, a police spokesman told reporters that one person was shot and describe him as a victim.

On Friday, County Police updated their crime stats at CrimeMapping.com and listed the incident as a residential burglary with forced entry.

Police have not released additional details surrounding the incident so it is unclear who was shot or if any arrest are planned.

This is the second residential burglary with forced entry reported in the 600 block of Parkman Court this month.  The first burglary was reported on October 1, 2019, according to the stats provided by CrimeMapping.com.

The shooting caused authorities to place nearby Kathleen H. Wilbur Elementary School on lockdown for a short period of time on Wednesday.

This is a developing story.
