Troopers: Woman Chased Into New Castle Walmart, Beaten And Robbed

New Castle – The Delaware State Police are investigating a strong-arm robbery that took place inside a New Castle area Walmart on Monday night, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Michael Austin.

Austin said the incident occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2019, inside the Walmart, located at 117 Wilton Blvd., New Castle. A 24-year-old female was confronted by two female suspects and chased into the Walmart. Once inside the store, the suspects began physically assaulting the victim. according to Austin. During the altercation, the suspects were able to remove property from the victim’s person and then fled. The victim was not injured as a result of the altercation.

The suspects were both described as black females, 20-25 years of age, 5’5”-5’6” tall, weighing 170-180 lbs., both wearing gray sweatsuits.
