Upon their arrival, crews reported fire showing from the home and began their attack on the fire. As the fire raged smoke filled the northeast Wilmington sky.

At least one person was injured during the fire. An elderly woman jumped from a third-story window, according to reports from the scene. She received burns to her extremities and was transported to Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania.
