Edgemoor Gardens – Just before 3:00 this afternoon New Castle County Police responded to the area of Polk Road near Rysing Drive for what is believed to be a shots fired incident.
Authorities have not released details regarding the incident, however, neighbors are saying they think it was a drive-by shooting.
Police have cordoned off the area with yellow crime tape as they investigate.
Police have responded to several shootings in the neighborhood of Edgemoor Gardens over the last several weeks.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
