Traffic Alert: New Round Of Saint Georges Bridge Repairs Start Monday

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ (USACE) Philadelphia District and its contractor Freyssinet, Inc. will be completing joint seal repairs on the St. Georges Bridge in Delaware, according to USACE spokesman
Tim Boyle.

Boyle said work will be conducted from Monday, November 18 through Friday, November 22 between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Both lanes of the bridge will remain open during the project; however, a lane shift through the bike lane will be enacted. Flaggers will be on hand to halt vehicular traffic to allow bicyclists safe passage when necessary.
