Newark – Rescue crews from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder have responded to route 896 SB just north of I-95 for reports of a vehicle collision.
Arriving crews have closed the roadway.
Initial reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle has received heavy frontend damage, all the way up to the firewall, and that the patient was non-responsive upon arrival.
The patient is en route to the Christiana Hospital Trauma Center.
