Just In: Head-On Collision In Newark Sends Two To CER, One By Air

Newark – Just before 2:15, Tuesday afternoon rescue crews from Aetna hose, Hook, and Ladder responded to Otts Chapel Road just north of Old Baltimore Pike for an injury accident with injuries.

Upon arrival, crews reported two patients, one of which was no alert. Command immediately requested Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 4.

One patient was transported by ground ambulance with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was transported by the helicopter with undetermined injuries.

Travel on Otts Chapel Road in the area of the crash is restricted while Troopers investigate.
