Elsmere – Firefighters from across northern New Castle County are responding to the unit block of N Park Drive (B & O Lane) for a commercial structure fire.
First arriving crews are reporting that a home that has been converted into a business is fully involved in fire.
Command has ordered an exterior attack only.
Crews were told after arrival that someone may be in the structure. The primary search for victims was negative, no one found. Man who lives in the upstairs unit has called to confirm he is not inside.
Command has ordered everyone back out of the building.
Early indications are that this is an auto repair shop with living quarters above.
