At around 2:45 this afternoon Wilmington Police along with Wilmington Fire and St Francis EMT’s responded to the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue, in the area of 4th Street for reports of a shooting.
Woodlawn Avenue is closed off by yellow police tape between 4th and 3rd Streets. Police on scene have marked several items in the roadway with yellow evidence tags.
Police said they located a 17-year-old male gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.
