Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 1:31 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 300 block of West 6th Street.
Police said they located a 28-year-old William Parker Jr. of Edgemoor, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, officials said Tuesday.
