Police Release Few Details Surrounding Shooting Of Juvenile On Thursday

Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 12:57 p.m. in the 400 block of Queen Street, according to authorities.

Officials said officers located a 15-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds at that location, however, they did not elaborate on the incident.

Reports from the scene indicate that the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to an area children’s hospital trauma center with very serious injuries. Police say the boy is listed in stable condition at this time.
