Three Delaware Churches Fall Victim To Overnight Burglaries

The Delaware State Police are reporting a number of Church burglary incidents in Sussex County that occurred within the past few days, according to Director of Public Information Sergeant Richard D. Bratz.

Investigators are looking into burglaries that occurred at three churches in Millsboro and Laurel in recent days.

Carey’s United Methodist Church located at 22053 Careys Camp Road, Millsboro was broken into on January 11, 2020, during the overnight hours.

Saint Johns AME Church located at 31034 East Trap Pond Road in Laurel was broken into sometime between January 8 and January 11, 2020.

The third church, Trinity Church located at 17237 Phillips Hill Road in Millsboro was struck between January 6 and January 11, 2020.

Troopers are asking residents to be watchful and very observant of suspicious activity. If you see something say something police ask that call them by dialing 9-1-1.
