Happening Now: Evacuation Underway At Assisted Living Facility In Sussex County

Selbyville – Sussex County Firefighters have responded to the Brandywine Living at Fenwick Island assisted living facility, located at 21111 Arrington Drive for reports of smoke in the building.

First arriving crews are reporting that the sprinkler system is activated and are in the process of evacuating residents in the affected area of the building.

Crews are working to kill the power on the 3rd and 4th floors.

Fire alarms can be heard blaring over the radio traffic.

The fourth floor has been cleared of all residents. They are working on the third floor now.
