Just In: 19-Year-Old Shot In Newark, Details Released Are Few

Newark, Delaware – The Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2020, in the 4000 block of Ogletown Stanton Road, Newark, according to Director of Public Information, Sergeant Richard Bratz.

Bratz said the preliminary investigation has determined that police located a 19-year-old male gunshot victim who arrived at the hospital. Troopers have released few details surrounding the shooting other than to say the injuries are not life-threatening.

It’s unclear if the shooter was arrested or if they remain at-large.
