Reports: Wilmington Father Gunned Down In Front Of His Child

This morning, just before noon, Wilmington Police officers responded to the area of the Lucky Stop convenience store at North Market Street and Gordon Street for a shooting.

Police reported that 40-year-old Randolph White of Wilmington was shot and killed at the scene.

First State Update readers have reported that they believe several shots were fired during the incident and that White’s child was at the scene when the shooting occurred.

Police have not released any details surrounding their investigation into White’s death.

Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 11:42 a.m. in the 2200 block of North Market Street.

Police located a 40-year-old male gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries.

Readers tell First State Update that shooting occurred near the Lucky Stop convenience store at North Market Street and Gordon Street.
