Just In: Millsboro Man Dies After Being Trapped Under Skid Steer Loader In Rehoboth

Rehoboth Beach- The Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred earlier today.

The incident occurred on March 5, 2020, at approximately 9:56 a.m., when Troopers were dispatched to Colonial Lane, Rehoboth Beach in reference to an accident. Upon arrival, Troopers located an individual pinned beneath a skid steer loader.

As rescue crews responded to the scene they were told by Troopers on scene that the patient had succumbed to his injuries.

The victim, a 49-year-old Millsboro man was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death. His name is being withheld at this time pending the notification of next of kin.

Crews remained on scene for just under an hour.
