Officials Release Details In Milltown Motorcycle Crash

At approximately 4:35 yesterday afternoon, New Castle County Paramedics along with crews from the Mill Creek, Hockessin. Belvedere, and Cranston Heights Fire Companies responded to the intersection of Limestone Road and Milltown Road in Wilmington for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcyclist, according to  Public Information Officer Paramedic Corporal Yvonne Russell.

Crews were alerted to the crash by a Delaware State Police Trooper that found the rider in the road shortly after the accident. Russell said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found a 58-year-old man suffering injuries to his chest, shoulder, back, and leg. He was treated on scene and transported to Christiana Hospital via Mill Creek Fire Company ambulance. He was in stable condition at the time of transport.

At least three other vehicles were involved in the accident. A total of five ambulances were called to the scene, however, it is unclear how many others were transported to the hospital.
