Happening Now: Two-Alarm Apartment Fire In Dover, Evacuation Underway

Dover – At 10:07 this morning firefighters from Dover and Little Creek along with Kent County Paramedics, Saint Francis EMS and other surrounding companies responded to the Baytree Apartment Homes at 210 Bay Tree Road for a working apartment fire.

Several of our readers tell First State Update that heavy black smoke was filling the skies over Dover.

Upon their arrival, crews reported heavy fire coming from the three-story apartment building.

We have received several photos and videos that show fire and heavy smoke coming from the building. We are working on turning those around check back shortly.

Command struck a second alarm shortly after reporting fire from the roof. He later ordered all units working inside the structure to evacuate the building.
