TRAFFIC ALERT – Daytime and Nighttime Intermittent Lane Closures on Route 1 NB/SB – Bridges over Lewes-Rehoboth Canal
Location: Route 1 Northbound/Southbound (Bridges over Lewes-Rehoboth Canal) between Bay Vista Road and Canal Road, Rehoboth.
Times and Dates: Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2020 until 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2020, pending weather.
Traffic Information: DelDOT announces to motorists that the sealing of the bridge deck, installation of handrails and median guardrails will require intermittent lane closures on Route 1 northbound/southbound. At all times, one lane will remain open to motorists on Route 1 northbound/southbound.
Motorists should use caution for construction staff and anticipate shifting of lanes in this area.
