Dover Police Investigating Shots Fired Incident

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that left an unoccupied vehicle with damage, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said at approximately 11:53 PM on Thursday, May 21st, officers responded to the rear alley of the 400 Block of Sussex Avenue for a report of shots fired.

Arriving officers located several shell casings on the ground along with a vehicle that was struck by multiple rounds. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the incident.
