Just In: DelDOT Announces Major Road Closure Due To Bridge Demolition

TRAFFIC ALERT – Demolition of Bridge Will Require the Closure of Martin Luther King Boulevard
Location: Martin Luther King Boulevard (Bridge on Route 48/Lancaster Avenue) between Route 48/Lancaster Avenue and North Jackson Street, Wilmington.

Times and Dates: 10:00 p.m. on May 29, 2020 until 5:00 a.m. on June 1, 2020, pending weather.

Traffic Information: DelDOT announces to motorists that Martin Luther King Boulevard will be closed for the demolition of the bridge on Route 48/Lancaster Avenue.

Detour Routes:

North Jackson Street to Martin Luther King Boulevard: Motorists will turn left on Third Street and then turn right onto North Tatnall Street.

Route 48/Lancaster Avenue to Martin Luther King Boulevard: Motorists will turn right onto South Jackson Street and then turn left to Route 4/Maryland Avenue.

Detour signage will be posted for motorists.
