Troopers Investigating Talleyville Gun Store Burglary Early Sunday

Talleyville – The Delaware State Police is investigating a string of burglaries the occurred overnight and into Sunday morning.

For most of the morning, Troopers have been on scene investigating a burglary at the StarQuest Shooters & Survival Supply located at 3701 Concord Pike.

At that location, a window on the side of the store was completely smashed out, however, it’s unclear if the thieves were able to access the store or if anything was stolen.

A second burglary occurred next door at the AT&T Store. At that location, a door window was also smashed in.

Troopers attempted to locate the suspects utilized K-9 units, State Police Helicopter Trooper 4, along with several  Troopers and County Officers.

Radio traffic indicated that several other burglaries occurred in the area overnight.

LOOTERS SMASHED THE WINDOWS OUT OF OUR STORE (AND MANY OTHER STORES ON 202) LAST NIGHT, BUT THEY COULD NOT GET PAST THE DOUBLE LAMINATED GLASS, THE BARS ON THE WINDOWS, AND THE SECURITY SYSTEM.
THE BUILDING WASN’T BREACHED AND NO FIREARMS WERE STOLEN.

WE WILL BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS TODAY AT 11AM
