Police: Safety Conscious Thief Targets Dover Day Care Facility

The Dover Police Department is conducting an investigation into a burglary at a child care center that occurred on Saturday, June 20th, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said between 4:39PM-4:46PM, an unknown male suspect gained entry into the building through a rear window. Once inside, the suspect stole various items and fled on foot from the main entrance door. The suspect was seen on surveillance video and is described as a light-complected male, average height and build, wearing a black hat, dark shirt with stripes on the sleeves, orange and yellow traffic safety vest, dark jeans, and black shoes.
