Troopers Close Road Near State Line Due To Police Action

Delaware State Police have closed Shell Station Road near the southern state line with Maryland due to police action.

Officials have released a short statement regarding the incident.

“Frankford – The Delaware State Police are currently conducting an investigation in the 20000 block of Shell Station Road in Frankford.

At this time the incident is contained to a specific residence, however, as a precautionary measure Shell Station Road is currently closed.  

Citizens will notice a police presence in the vicinity and are asked to avoid the area. The investigation is active and ongoing with further details being released as they become available.”
