Troopers Investigating Second Shooting In Three Days On Same Street

Milford – On Saturday, July 18, 2020, at approximately 9:06 p.m., Troopers responded to Betsy Ross Circle in Milford, for reports of shots fired.

The investigation determined a thin black male suspect with short dreadlocks, shot at an apartment located on Betsy Ross Circle, striking it with 8 rounds. The apartment struck by gunfire was occupied by two subjects at the time, however, both were unharmed. The suspect fled on foot towards Montour Road and entered an unknown make/model pick-up truck before fleeing the scene, according to police.

Troopers were called out to Betsy Ross Circle previously on July 15, 2020, for a shooting that left a 32-year-old Georgetown man shot in the neck. Police have not said if they believe the two incidents are connected.
