Georgetown – At approximately 11:15 Tuesday morning, rescue workers from Georgetown, Georgetown EMS, Sussex County Medics, and Trooper 2 were dispatched to the 20000 block of Dupont Blvd for reports of a vehicle crash with entrapment.
While en route crews were told that the crash involved a dump truck and an overturned vehicle. Arriving crews reported no entrapment
Trooper 2 was recalled and not utilized for transport.
Initial reports from the scene indicate that two patients from the overturned vehicle were transported to the hospital.
As of 12:00 the NB lanes or Route 13 were still closed as crews work to clear the scene and investigate.
