Woman Ejected, Trapped Under Vehicle Early Monday

Wilmington – At 12:08 Monday morning rescue crews from the Talleyville Fire Company, Wilmington Fire and Police, Medics, and Trooper 4 responded to Augustine Cut Off at Alapocas Driver for a motor vehicle accident with ejection.

While en route crews learned that Wilmington Police Officers on scene were reporting that w woman was trapped underneath a vehicle in a ditch.

Upon arrival, Talleyville crews requested assistance from Wilmington Fire’s Squad 4.

Crews were then dispatched to nearby Blueball Barn to set up a landing zone (LZ) for Trooper 4. Command reporting crews working with one trapped.

At around 1:15 am Talleyville Command reported that the patient had been extricated and was en route to the LZ with medic accompanying.

The patient was transported to the trauma center with undetermined injuries.
