Ellendale– Delaware State police are currently conducting a homicide investigation that occurred early Thursday morning, according to Public Information Officer, Senior Corporal Heather Pepper.
Pepper said on August 27, 2020, at approximately 3:25 a.m., troopers were dispatched to the 12000 block of North Old State Road in Ellendale, for a report of a subject shot outside a residence. Upon arrival, troopers located a 25-year-old male from Milford, Delaware, deceased from one gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, there is no suspect information.
This case is an active and ongoing criminal investigation. Additional information will be provided once it is available.
