Thieves Make Off With Over $12,000 In Victoria’s Secret Merch In Rehoboth

Rehoboth Beach– The Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to identify the pictured suspects who are wanted for organized retail theft, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Jaffe said the incident occurred on August 16, 2020, at approximately 5:45 p.m., at the Victoria’s Secret outlet store located at 35000 Midway Outlet Drive in Rehoboth Beach. The employees were initially unaware that the shoplifting had occurred.

It was not until the next day, August 17, 2020, when employees were opening the store that they realized merchandise was missing. Further investigation revealed that approximately 600-700 pieces of undergarments valued at a total of approximately $12,000.00 were stolen.

It appears that there are four suspects involved in this incident and they are also responsible for other theft incidents from numerous Victoria’s Secret Stores in the Tri-State area, said Jaffe.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspects is asked to please contact Troop 7, Trooper Short at 302-644-5020.
