Smyrna Police Department (SPD) Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred on Saturday night, according to police.
Officials said on 9/12/20 at approximately 10:30 p.m., SPD officers responded to the 100 block of Lincoln Street for a report of shots fired.
Upon their arrival, they located a 50-year-old female victim who had suffered a gunshot wound to her lower extremity. She was conscious and alert and was transported to Kent General Hospital (KGH) for treatment.
While investigating, SPD officers learned of a second male victim in his 20’s also suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower extremity. This male ran to the area of KFC on N Dupont Hwy after also being shot in the 100 block of Lincoln Street. This victim was also transported to KGH for treatment in stable condition.
