Body Washes Ashore In Ocean City, Investigation Underway

Ocean City, Md. – This morning at 7:15 a.m., the Ocean City Police Department responded to 14th Street and the beach for a report of a body that washed ashore, according to a statement released by the department.

Just after 10:20 officials said the body had been removed from the beach. The beach access points closed at 14th Street have been reopened. The investigation is still ongoing.

Police said the adult male has been turned over to the medical examiner. The investigation is still ongoing.
