Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal stabbing incident that occurred at approximately 11:59 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of West 4th Street.
Police located 25-year-old Tierra Herring suffering from stab wounds. She was transported to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
