Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 7:14 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Heald Street.
Police located a 29-year-old male gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

This incident was the second fatal shooting in Wilmington on Sunday. It was also the fourth shooting over the weekend in the city.
Two other men were shot early Saturday morning in Newark. One of those men died at the scene. The other is hospitalized with what are believed to be serious injuries.
